More musical tributes to Finchley’s “Hotel Horace”

In a very short space of time, tribute to Horace White, “the Best of Luck man” of Finchley and Camden Town fame, has become the second most-viewed article on this site.

One of the things I commented on was how he inspired several people, including a very young me, to pen songs in his honour.

Since then, we’ve seen a couple more emerge.

There’s this one, brought to life by Robert John Puzey, a songwriter who has worked with the Nolan sisters among others. Understandably, the line “I think we all are just a little bit crazy” is causing controversy in the YouTube comments. But in general it pays huge respect to the legend of supermarket shopping.

And there’s this one, with considerably less views, but heartening in its own way.
